William and Linda had only been part of the Fox family for about two months when a routine follow-up visit revealed something much bigger than expected.

During a follow-up service in September for roaches, after an initial treatment two weeks earlier, it became clear that the situation inside their home was far worse than anticipated. Nearby attached neighbors in the duplex showed very light activity, but a thorough inspection of William and Linda’s home told a different story.
Roaches were nesting in unexpected places, including curtains facing sunny windows, behind picture frames, and along crown molding. The infestation was heavy and widespread, and it was clear that standard baiting, liquid treatments, or aerosol treatments alone would not be enough to make meaningful progress.
The path forward required more than treatment alone. Improving sanitary conditions, reducing clutter, and removing both live and dead roach activity were essential steps to allow the service to be effective. When speaking with William and Linda, it became clear that they had been under significant stress and had not been able to keep up with cleaning. Linda relies on a walker to move around, and William had recently retired after more than 40 years with a trucking company, making many physical tasks difficult to manage on their own.
At that point, the team asked if William and Linda would be open to accepting help beyond the standard service. By assisting with tidying the home, vacuuming out roach activity, and removing items from areas like the basement, the team could perform a more thorough treatment and create lasting improvement.
A group of selfless volunteers stepped in and, together, achieved more than expected. Their efforts helped accelerate progress on the infestation and provided meaningful relief for William and Linda during a challenging time.
A follow-up call on November 20 confirmed the impact. William shared his sincere gratitude for everything the Fox team had done, noting that they were already seeing a significant reduction in roach activity and feeling more comfortable in their home.
Stories like this highlight how a willingness to go the extra mile can make a lasting difference, not just in a home, but in the lives of the people who live there.
