Over the Fourth of July holiday, devastating floods swept through the Texas Hill Country, impacting communities in and around Kerrville, San Angelo, and neighboring counties. As news and images from the region spread, many team members felt the same pull. A deep desire to help, even if traveling to the area was not possible.

That desire turned into action when Xavier Gutierrez, a lead technician from the Boston branch, shared that his brother and a group of friends would be traveling to the affected areas to assist with relief efforts. Wanting to support them in a meaningful way, the team reached out to learn which supplies were most urgently needed on the ground.
The response was immediate. Donations began coming in from the local office, along with contributions from Home Inspectors who were eager to help however they could. The effort quickly became a shared mission, fueled by compassion and a genuine hope to make a difference.
Fred Salinas, a lead technician, summed it up simply:
“I’m happy to help in any way I can. Donations are always needed in times of hardship. I just hope it can make a difference to those individuals who need it most.”
While no amount of supplies can undo the loss or pain caused by a tragedy like this, the team hoped their support could offer comfort during an incredibly difficult time. Sometimes, helping means showing up with what you can and letting people know they are not facing recovery alone.
