Foxgiving has a way of reminding everyone what matters most. Showing up, looking out for people, and doing the small things that add up to something big. This season, our teams came together for several meaningful projects that reached far beyond the communities we serve, and straight into the hearts of the people who needed it most.
One of the most special projects this Foxgiving season was a seed-packing event to support a village in Malawi. With every seed that went into a bag, it felt like more than just packing supplies. It felt like planting hope.
These seeds represent nourishment, stability, and a future for families across the world. It’s a simple project on the surface, but the impact behind it is huge, because food and opportunity can change everything.

This year’s Trunk or Treat event was more than candy and costumes. It was a true celebration of inclusion, kindness, and community care, and one of the highlights was the intentional effort to make sure every child could fully enjoy the night.
That included children with gluten sensitivities or celiac disease, who are often unintentionally left out of events like this. Volunteers prepared and clearly labeled gluten-free treat options, and several decorated trunks offered non-food prizes too, making sure no child felt awkward, excluded, or unsure.
Parents were genuinely grateful for the thoughtfulness. Many shared that it is rare for their children to participate in events without worry. And the kids? They lit up, excited to collect treats and prizes they could actually enjoy.

It was one of those moments that proved something important: small choices can make a big difference, and inclusivity isn’t complicated when people simply care.
In Rochester, the Trunk or Treat event also supported a veterans outreach program and a local fire department outreach program. Seeing the community come together, families, kids, and first responders, was inspiring in the best way.
Events like this remind us how powerful it is to give back and stand alongside the people who serve and protect our communities every day. It was an honor to play even a small role in spreading joy, appreciation, and unity.
Another meaningful outreach this season was Operation Toy Outreach, a mission designed to bring joy and relief to families who need it most.

This effort is especially focused on children from underserved communities, kids who might otherwise go without gifts during the holidays. The toys may look small, but the message behind them is big: you are valued, you matter, and you are not forgotten.
And the impact doesn’t stop with the kids. Parents and caregivers feel it too, because it brings a moment of comfort and relief, knowing their children will still get to experience the joy every child deserves.
It’s the kind of outreach that strengthens the entire community, bringing people together through generosity, compassion, and shared purpose. In every way, Operation Toy Outreach uplifts families, encourages hope, and reminds all of us how powerful kindness can be.
This season also connected with Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child, which sends gift-filled shoeboxes to children in need around the world, along with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Each shoebox is packed with fun items like toys, stuffed animals, dolls, or soccer balls, and for many children, it may be the first gift they’ve ever received.
Local churches in more than 100 nations distribute these gifts through festive, child-friendly outreach events that are warm and welcoming. Many children also have the opportunity to participate in a follow-up discipleship program called The Greatest Journey, a 12-lesson program that continues supporting them after the initial gift is received.

Foxgiving also gave us the chance to support a local organization doing amazing work: the Los Del Mambo Dance Group.
After gathering more details about what their dance teacher needed most, it became clear that the biggest need was simple and heartfelt: gifts for the kids.
There are 28 children participating in the dance program, and Fox will be helping by providing gifts for them. Additionally, Fox will participate through volunteer work, including serving food at the event, so the staff can focus on everything else they’re juggling.
And yes… there’s one more fun detail.
Fitz (our mascot!) was dressed as Santa Claus, handing out the gifts Fox provided. Because honestly, what’s better than spreading holiday joy with a Santa Fox?
From seed packing for Malawi… to inclusive Trunk or Treat moments… to supporting veterans, first responders, and kids right here at home… this Foxgiving season has been packed with purpose.
It’s a reminder that giving back doesn’t always have to be flashy. Sometimes it’s a bag of seeds. A gluten-free treat option. A shoebox gift. A toy for a child. A volunteer serving food. A mascot in a Santa suit.
And every single one matters.
