Fox Pest Control Sponsors Literacy Buffalo Niagara’s Virtual Meat Raffle

At Fox Pest Control, we’re all about tackling problems. For customers like you, we’re solving pest problems. But, pests aren’t the only issue we’re looking to solve. One of the less-talked about, but more serious problems facing our society is illiteracy. In fact, according to UNESCO.org, there are currently 781 million illiterate adults worldwide. To help reduce illiteracy in the communities surrounding Fox Pest Control’s Buffalo Branch, we’re sponsoring Literacy Buffalo Niagara’s first Virtual Meat Raffle!

The Meat Raffle serves as a fundraiser for Literacy Buffalo Niagara, allowing the organization to provide free one-on-one literacy and English as a Second Language (ESL) tutoring in Erie and Niagara counties. Here’s how the raffle works:

The raffle will feature 15 rounds of prizes – meat and gift cards –  from local vendors like Wegmans, Premier Wine, Federal Meats and more. In each round, three winners will be selected. And, one ticket holder will be selected as a Grand Prize Winner, taking home $200 gift cards to both JH Dowman Co. and Valu Home Center.

Winners will be announced via the Literacy Buffalo Niagara Facebook Page on May 24, 2022. After the announcement, winners will receive their prizes via mail within seven days.
