Fox Pest Control Sponsors 26th Annual CowaLUNGa Charity Bike Tour

At Fox Pest Control, giving back to the community matters to us. And, it’s not just something we say we’re going to do – we actually do it. We are proud to contribute to our society in many ways, including donating time, money, talents, and anything we possess that is of need to others. We know that improving our world can, and will, make it a better place. 

With a commitment to our community as one of Fox Pest Control’s core values, we’re focused on finding events and organizations to support that are also looking to make the world a better place. 

One event that we recently learned about looking for support was the 26th annual CowaLUNGa Charity Bike Tour, which is scheduled for July 30, 31, and August 1, 2022. 

CowaLUNGa Charity Bike Tour raises funds and awareness for Respiratory Health Association (RHA), a nonprofit with a mission to prevent lung disease, promote clean air, and help people with asthma, COPD, lung cancer, and other lung diseases live better through education, research, and policy change. 

A bike ride for an important cause? We couldn’t resist getting involved. So, we’re excited to share that Fox Pest Control’s Chicago branch is now an official sponsor of the RHA’s 2022 CowaLUNGa Charity Bike Tour! 

This year, riders have several different participation options, including riding 18 or 65 miles in one day, riding 130 miles in two days, doing a three-day ride of 190 miles, or participating in a virtual ride. Depending on the mileage, riders are asked to fundraise specific amounts for RHA. 

On their route, riders will pedal over rolling hills through northern Illinois into southern Wisconsin. Along the way, riders will enjoy scenic farmland and small country towns. All in-person routes are fully supported, offering rest stops and return transportation to the start line at Gurnee Mills in Gurnee, Illinois. More information about this year’s event is available online.
