Fox Pest Control Sponsors Mystic Irish 5K

We’re pleased to announce that Fox Pest Control is an official sponsor of the 2022 Mystic Irish 5K! 

Every March, the team at Fox Pest Contol’s Connecticut Branch ⸺ as well as many other Connecicuters ⸺ look forward to two things: the St. Patrick’s Day parade and the Mystic 5K. These events bring the entire community ⸺ neighbors, friends, local business owners, and kids of all ages⸺ together for pomp and circumstance and a bout of healthy competition. This year’s Mystic 5K will be held on March 26, 2022, the day before the parade. 

With all proceeds going to benefit Groton Parks & Recreation and the Mystic Irish Parade Foundation, the 5K begins in downtown Mystic and travels along scenic River Road alongside the Mystic River. Participants are encouraged to keep with Irish tradition and wear green gear. 

This year’s race winners not only receive bragging rights, but also a reserved spot to march in the Mystic Irish Parade the following day. 

Whether you’re feeling lucky or just want to have a good time, there’s still time to sign up for this year’s 5K. Depending on when you register, the race entrance fee costs between $20 and $30. Additionally, for an additional $5 donation, runners will receive a pair of green laces. Proceeds of all lace sales go directly toward helping financially disadvantaged neighbors participate in the event and weekend festivities.
