Fox Pest Control Sponsors 2022 Family Outdoor Expo

At Fox Pest Control, family means everything. In fact, family means so much to everyone at Fox that it’s one of our company’s 18 Core Values. When looking for ways to get involved in the community, we’re always keeping our eyes open for family-oriented engagements. So when the team at our Fox’s Pest Control branch in Corpus Christi learned about the opportunity to sponsor this year’s Family Outdoor Expo, they immediately took action, making a donation to help the event take place. 

This year’s Family Outdoor Expo, which brings families together for a fun-filled day of outdoor activities, will take place on February 12, 2022, from 10am to 5pm at Son Valley Ranch in Victoria, Texas. 

The Expo was first hosted in 2005 by a small group of outdoor enthusiasts who wanted to create the opportunity for those who may never have had the chance to experience the outdoors the chance to do so, as well as create an environment for memories to be made by families. At the Family Outdoor Expo, families can fish, shoot pellet guns, climb rock walls, ride ponies, browse educational booths, learn how to fly fish, shoot a bow and arrow, and interact with local businesses and event partners. 

Since inception, the event has been  well supported by the community. Each year more than 500 volunteers across the age spectrum come together to make the event happen. As the only event of its kind in the state, the event draws in participants from all over. One year, more than 12,000 enjoyed the day-long event. 

We’re excited to be a sponsor of the 2022 Family Outdoor Expo, and several of our team members are particularly looking forward to the event as they will be taking their families to get in on the fun. Hope to see you there!
