Fox Pest Control Sponsors 2022 Dallas Buddy Walk®

Fox Pest Control’s Dallas Branch is an official sponsor of the 21st Annual Dallas Buddy Walk®!

The national Buddy Walk® program was established by the National Down Syndrome Society in 1995 to celebrate Down syndrome awareness. Today, more than 250 cities across the world host walks. Collectively, these events have raised more than $14 million for local Down syndrome programs, outreach and support.

The signature fundraising and awareness event for the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas, Dallas Buddy Walk® provides information, resources, and support to more than 2,200 people with Down syndrome and their families across 13 counties in North Texas. Currently, the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas offers a variety of age-appropriate programs for individuals with Down syndrome, including social events, camps, interest-based activities and skills development workshops.

This year’s Dallas Buddy Walk® is scheduled for Sunday, October 23, 2022, at the Toyota FC Dallas Stadium. Annually, more than 5,000 attendees, including individuals with Down syndrome, their family and friends and community supporters, join not only for the walk, but a day of family-friendly activities. At past events, attendees have enjoyed inflatables, games, face painting, vendor booths and more!

One of the most important aspects of the event is that all proceeds are kept at the local level, allowing the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas to specifically help here, in North Texas.
