Fox Pest Control Supports Acadiana Veteran Alliance

Fox Pest Control employs many veterans across the nation. It’s an honor to have those who have served in the United States military as part of our Fox Family.

To give back to those who have given so much to us, Fox Pest Control’s Lafayette Branch has made a donation to the Acadiana Veteran Alliance, a non-profit that supports veterans living in Acadiana.

The Acadiana Veteran Alliance (AVA) is on a mission to unite local veterans, Acadiana veteran-owned businesses and all Acadiana-based companies for the common purposes of supporting veterans in three different pillars – work, heal and give – to help individuals successfully transition out of the military and ensure lasting success as a veteran in the community.

In the ‘work’ pillar, AVA helps veterans find veteran-friendly employment by partnering with local businesses. The organization also works with veterans to ensure they have the resources that they need for interviews and job searches. And, on the flip side, AVA works with local businesses to help create jobs for veterans.

AVA’s ‘heal’ programs help veterans with Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS), and the organization is steadfastly working on introducing a formalized treatment protocol for the treatment of PTS in veterans across Louisiana. The group also offers a variety of services to help veterans heal after trauma.

Lastly, the ‘give’ pillar provides numerous ways for interested parties to support AVA’s efforts, allowing the organization to become a lasting and impactful organization that continuously pivots to meet the needs of veterans throughout the community and years. Every donation helps the organization find housing and provides financial and legal support whenever it is needed by local veterans.
