Fox Pest Control Sponsors Creative Works Of Lancaster

According to our team members that get to interact directly with customers, one of the best parts of their jobs is getting to know people. When the team at Fox Pest Control’s Lancaster Branch is out servicing homes they learn a lot about the customer’s families, hobbies and interests.

On a recent service visit, the team learned about Creative Works of Lancaster, a non-profit organization providing nomadic theatrical encounters in and around the Lancaster area. The team at Fox Pest Control’s Lancaster Branch is so impressive with the creativity and fun that the actors, writers, designers, directors and community members have with the organization that it has become an official sponsor of Creative Works of Lancaster!

Founded in 2008, Creative Works of Lancaster takes pride in providing theatrical performances that are fun and on the weirder side. By providing nomadic theater, the organization offers community members the opportunity to see theatrical performances in a variety of different venues, considering the entire city of Lancaster one big stage. In the last 15 years, Creatives Works of Lancaster has produced more than 80 events in 45 different venues, including local breweries, restaurants, public parks, barns, cemeteries, hotels, churches and even fast food restaurants!

As for types of performances, the organization enjoys featuring the unconventional. For example, past shows have included sock puppets, staged readings, theatrical escape rooms, mobile art galleries and 24-hour plays. By pushing the boundaries of what many consider to be “theater”, the group reaches community members in a variety of ways, allowing them to reach many people that may never consider going to a traditional performance. Additionally, Creative Works of Lancaster has a “Pay What You Decide” pricing structure, ensuring that everyone who desires to enjoy the arts is able.
