Fox Sponsors The Villages Motor Racing Fan Club

The team at Fox Pest Control’s Orlando Branch is pleased to announce that Fox is now an official sponsor of The Villages Motor Racing Fan Club! 

Open to all Villages residents, the club is dedicated to providing a place for those with motor racing interest to join together and share in their common interests. While the main interests for Club members are NASCAR and local racing venues in the areas surrounding The Villages. 

Formed in 2006, the Club not only brings members together for fun, but at the monthly meetings on the first Wednesday of each month the Club features education on the different types of tracks and operations. Representatives from almost all the nearby parks and speedways, including  Ocala Speedway, Columbia Motorsports Park, Orlando Speedworld, Sebring International Raceway, Auburndale Speedway, New Smyrna Speedway, Citrus County Speedway, Original Speedway Park (Fruitland Park), Volusia Speedway Park and Bushnell Motorsports Park have presented to the Club. Additionally, the Club hosts caravans and bus trips to the venues to support different races and the sport of motor racing. 

At monthly meetings, representatives from the world of motorsports also join to help bring details of the sports and action directly to members. Over the last 16 years, stock car drivers and mechanics, race track promoters, sports car enthusiasts, drag racing veterans, go kart races and airplane racers have all shared their stories and knowledge with Club members.  

Today, more than 150 members wear the Club’s yellow shirts and bright red hats. Besides being a Club that supports the interest and likes of members, the Club also seeks to do good in the community, supporting several charities through fundraising events. In total, the club has provided several thousand dollars to organizations and local disaster relief efforts. Additionally, the Club has made donations to help ensure local racing continues for years to come.
