CumberlandFest

Last month, Fox had the opportunity to sponsor one of the area’s best annual attractions, CumberlandFest. The event took place over the weekend of August 6th-8th at Diamond Hill Park in Cumberland and even boasted FREE admission! The event hosted some of the area’s premier food vendors, from D’s BBQ and Southern Cookin’ to Mickey G’s Clam Shack to The Ice Cream Machine and more. There were small businesses and arts and craft vendors, rides and fun for the whole family. This year marked the 30th anniversary of CumberlandFest, and the free admission was a thank you to everyone coming back after the festival had to be cancelled last year due to the covid-19 pandemic.

CumberlandFest is a great opportunity for local businesses to gain new customers, and for the community to come together. Through the patronage of attendees, vendors, sponsors and volunteers, CumberlandFest raises money for local youth programs and activities. Over the past 30 years they have raised more than $1,000,000 for area kids. This year’s event featured $30 all day passes for the carnival rides, and a wide array of vendors and musical acts.
