Sami’s Sendoffs

2020 changed the world. In the United States alone, we watched as wildfires burned through millions of acres, battled (and continue to battle) Coronavirus, participated in a record-breaking presidential election, and experienced many more ups and downs than any of us could have imagined.

After all the chaos, everyone was in need of a little kindness and joy, including our Fox teams. To spread some holiday cheer, our Fox Pest Control Rhode Island branch used the month of December to help out a very special organization called Sami’s Sendoffs.

Samantha Ronci began Sami’s Sendoffs, a nonprofit organization that assembles care packages for children with cancer, when she was only 15 years old.  Sami creates and sells merchandise in order to raise funds. The nonprofit also relies on direct donations. Sami  has a goal to donate a care package to a child in each state. However, the care packages aren’t cheap to assemble and ship. For this reason, Fox’s Rhode Island branch contributed funds to send packages to several children around the holidays. It was a small gesture on our part but something that we hope will brighten the lives of kids who are going through too much too soon. 
As with all the causes Fox supports, Sami’s Sendoffs needs your help to continue giving back. It’s a project that requires as much community support as possible. No amount is too small! Support Samantha in her goal here.
