Fox Pest Control Commits To Sponsoring 12th Geneva Music Festival

Fox Pest Control’s Rochester Branch is now sponsoring the 12th Geneva Music Festival!

This will be Fox Pest Control’s first time sponsoring the Geneva Music Festival, but it’s not the first time that we’ve had the pleasure of enjoying the Festival. Many of the team members in Fox Pest Control’s Rochester Branch have attended the Festival in years past, and they’ve been inspired by the music.

Founded in 2011 by local violinists as a way to share chamber music with their hometown, the Geneva Music Festival is the area’s premiere summer kick-off event attracting locals and visitors from all over to enjoy four weeks of top-notch music performances. Rooted in chamber music repertoire, the Festival offers music across a diverse collection of musical genres including jazz, contemporary, bluegrass and more.

By providing access to world-class artists the event not only entertains, but inspires, educates and nurtures interests in music. Over the years, festival musicians have included leading classical soloists, Grammy Award-winning artists, members of the Lincoln Center Chamber Music Society, and faculty from esteemed musical programs at Yale, Juilliard, the Colburn School and the Cleveland Institute of Music.

To ensure that music is easily accessible to youth, encouraging not only interest but also participation, the Festival offers free admission to those under the age of 18 and a variety of programming geared at educating students. Outside of the four-week event, the Festival also hosts programs and schools and senior living facilities, keeping chamber music alive for those who may not have been able to get to the in-person experience. Digital Concert Hall will be provided at the end of the season, allowing guests to enjoy program offerings from their chosen location at a time that works best for them.
