Fox Pest Control Supports Barnard Fire Rescue

Feeling safe and secure allows for a little more sleep at night. In Rochester and the surrounding towns, there are several entities that are working around the clock to ensure safety in our communities.

One organization has been working 24/7 since 1927 to keep the lives and properties of citizens and visitors safe is the Barnard Fire Rescue. Originally a volunteer force providing fire and ambulance services, today, the department operates in a combination of career and volunteer workers. Annually, the department responds to more than 3,000 calls while also providing assistance to other neighboring rescue operations.

Our community wouldn’t be safe without the fine men and women that serve in the Barnard Fire Rescue. It’s an honor to know these individuals and have them in our community. To ensure that Barnard Fire Rescue and its amazing crew has the resources they need, Fox Pest Control’s Rochester Branch has sent a monetary donation to the organization to use as they see fit.

The Barnard Fire Rescue has a unique backstory, and was in fact incorporated by a group of local actors known as the Harmony Dramatic Club. When Club members realized that a small area of Greece, NY was not receiving fire protection services, they stepped in to ensure that everyone in the community was protected! Since that day, Barnard Fire Rescue has been on a mission to ensure the highest levels of service are provided in fire suppression, emergency medical services, fire prevention, public education and mitigation of natural and man-made disasters.

While the Barnard Fire Rescue continues to focus on keeping us safe from man-made and natural disasters, the team at Fox Pest Control’s Rochester Branch will do what we do best – keeping homeowners and homes safe from unwanted, harmful pests. And, that’s a promise you can count on.
