Fox Donates to Animal Aid Society

For the team at Fox Pest Control’s Virginia Beach branch, four-legged, furry friends are just as important as family members. Almost all of our 15 team members in the branch have pets, including Jason Riddick, the branch’s manager, who has a one-year-old yorkie-poo named Ahsoka that he got from one of our other technicians in our Norfolk branch. When the team learned Animal Aid Society was in need of critical funding, they immediately jumped into action, making a donation to help the organization meet the dogs’ needs. 

Founded in 1971, Animal Aid Society has helped provide a happy place for dogs in transition between homes — offering shelter, medical aid, care, and protection for dogs. Completely run solely by volunteers and community donations without any government funding, Animal Aid Society operates on donated time and money. Everyone that helps at the organization, from daily dog walkers to professional service providers and board members, volunteer their time and effort. On average, 900 hours of donated time is given every month to support and take care of the dogs in their care. 

After receiving the donation, Animal Aid Society sent the following to our team: 

“On behalf of the dogs, thank you to Fox Pest Control for choosing to sponsor Animal Aid Society! Your donation is making the holiday season that much brighter for dogs in need by providing food and veterinary care.”

We’re happy to make the donation and we’re honored to be part of the work that Animal Aid Society is doing. Fox Pest Control is proud to be in a community where people come together to support and care for others, especially those who can’t fend for themselves.
